Coffee doesn’t always have to be serious.
Sure, it can be precise. Carefully measured. Dialed-in to perfection. But some of the most memorable cups of coffee are the ones tied to a feeling, a moment, or a memory. The ones that remind you why you fell in love with coffee in the first place.
For us, that feeling goes straight back to campfires.
If you grew up making s’mores, you already know the magic. Standing around a fire as a kid. Sticky fingers. Melted chocolate. Marshmallows catching just a little too much flame. That mix of warmth, and laughter that somehow felt bigger than the moment itself.
That’s the spirit behind The S’more Slayer.
It wasn’t just our first coffee. It was the flavor that reminded us that coffee could be playful, and sometimes, bringing that magic back is as simple as turning your morning cup into something special.
That’s where this recipe comes in.
Not a complicated café drink. Not something that needs special tools or perfect technique. Just a fun, campfire-inspired way to enjoy coffee and remind yourself that coffee can still feel magical.
The S’more Slayer Campfire Cup
A semi-recipe. Magic encouraged.
Ingredients
-
Fresh brewed S’more Slayer coffee
-
Chocolate chips
-
Graham crackers
-
Whipped cream
-
Extra graham cracker crumbs and chocolate chips for topping
Directions
Melt the chocolate
Add chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 15–20 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
If you prefer the stove, melt the chocolate gently in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.

Crush the graham crackers
Place graham crackers into a zip-top bag and crush them using a rolling pin, mug, or even your hand until you have fine crumbs. They don’t need to be perfect.

Prepare the mug
Dip the rim of your mug into the melted chocolate, then immediately into the graham cracker crumbs to coat the rim.

Brew the coffee
Brew S’more Slayer coffee using your favorite method. A percolator gives a great campfire feel, but any brew method works.

Pour and finish
Pour the hot coffee into your prepared mug. Top with whipped cream, then sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs and chocolate chips.

Enjoy
Sip slowly. Campfire optional.

Why Coffee Should Be Fun Again
Somewhere along the way, coffee became all about rules and precision. There’s nothing wrong with that, but coffee has always been more than technique. It’s been a comfort. A way to slow down or spark a moment.
The S’more Slayer Campfire Cup isn’t about perfection. It’s about reminding yourself that coffee can feel like a treat. Like a memory. Like something that brings a smile before the day even starts.
It’s about standing around an imaginary campfire, even if you’re just in your kitchen.
If you try this recipe, make it your own. Add more chocolate. More crumbs. Less whipped cream. Or all of it.
Coffee should be fun. And sometimes, the best cups are the ones that remind us of being a kid again.
